I traded in a 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1600cc for a dark red Goldwing with audio, comfort, and nav. Loved the bike but my wife had back surgery and needed something that was more comfortable. We hit the jackpot not only in comfort but in all matters that count when it comes to riding a big bike. I have one of the first 2008’s in western NY State. To my surprise, it is much quicker from a dead stop and the motor and gas tank are lower than on my old V-twin so this Goldwing is much easier to handle at lower speeds. I just completed my 600mi check up and after a few fill ups I am already getting 38mpg. Can’t wait till it gets broke in.
